COO, Senior Operations - Private Credit

The Role:

The COO will be central to building and running the fund's operational platform, supporting the CEO, and ensuring strong governance, compliance, and financial management. This role combines fund operations, credit oversight, and strategic execution in a fast-moving, start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage end-to-end fund operations and administration
  • Oversee credit governance and portfolio monitoring
  • Implement systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Support regulatory compliance under AFSL/ACL obligations
  • Collaborate with the CEO on strategy, fund economics, and operational improvements
  • Help assess and manage early-stage investment and lending opportunities
  • Mentor and guide any small operations or credit team as it grows

About You:

  • Strong experience in fund operations or private credit / mortgage funds
  • Knowledge of lending, credit assessment, and governance
  • Comfortable working in small teams with a start-up mindset
  • Experienced in managing regulatory obligations and reporting requirements
  • Strategic, commercially minded, and hands-on with process implementation
