Commercial Pricing Analyst

Ambition are currently recruiting for a highly regarded FMCG Employer of choice, based in the CBD. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join the commercial team. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for implementing pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate would have an FMCG and SAP background with a strong ability to work with and manipulate large sets of data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement NPD pricing strategies that align with the business objectives
  • Deliver pricing execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and finance to gather insights and drive pricing decisions.
  • Executing mix, revenue and trade spend outcomes
  • Monitor pricing performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes affecting pricing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • FMCG or retail background preferred but not essential
  • SAP highly regarded
  • Similar experience in pricing analysis or strong user of excel data manipulation
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
