Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Sydney CBD (On-site, 4 days per week)

Duration: 12 Months

Project Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Platform Engineer to join our clients team for a 12-month project based in Sydney CBD. This role requires on-site work 4 days per week and focuses on creating a proof of concept for an AWS Landing Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the AWS Landing Zone to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define the architecture of the environment.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and cost management within the AWS environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates to ensure the project meets evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Ability to design and architect complex, scalable and highly available cloud solutions.
• Strong in-depth knowledge and experience with AWS (while experience with other cloud platforms and services (such as Azure and Google Cloud) would be an advantage
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation
