Job description
Opportunity:
I havw a fantastic Cloud Lead opportunity, leading the global migration of on-premise applications to the cloud. This role is pivotal in transforming the company's workplace to be more advanced and efficient.
As an experienced leader you will establish and manage programs while overseeing the delivery of services using Microsoft cloud-based technologies.
This is a permanent full time role based in Sydney CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and lead a new team.
- Develop and implement an operating model centered on automated, code-driven management and support to ensure superior user experiences and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the migration of on-premise applications to the cloud, leveraging expertise in Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform) and Azure AD configuration.
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and robust cloud infrastructure, emphasizing automation using tools like Terraform and PowerShell.
- Provide technical direction and guidance, actively participating in technical discussions from design through implementation phases.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- Proven expertise in migrating large-scale on-premise applications to the cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform) and Azure AD.
- Experience in designing and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels
