Business Finance Analyst

Are you a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for partnering with the business? We're recruiting for a Business Finance Analyst to join a high-performing team within a leading insurance and financial services organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver management reporting and insightful P&L reviews.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packs and support month-end close.
  • Assist with annual planning and forecasting cycles.
  • Maintain TM1 and Cognos records, and contribute to system mapping projects.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Data & Analytics teams on ad hoc analysis.
  • Prepare presentations and commentary for business meetings.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in FP&A or management reporting (insurance experience highly desirable).
  • Advanced Excel skills; exposure to Power BI is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of TM1, SQL, and Alteryx advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The process:
Two-stage interview - first with the hiring manager and HR, followed by an Excel assessment. Second stage with the Divisional Finance Lead.
