Analyst - Immediate Start for ASX Listed Business

Location: Sydney CBD + WFH flexibility
Contract Duration: 3 months
Hourly Rate: $70-$75 + Superannuation

Our client is seeking an Analyst to join their finance team in Sydney CBD. Ideal first commercial Step for CA-Qualified, Big 4-Trained Accountants on a 417 WHV.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in auditing, having honed their skills in a Big 4 environment, and are now seeking to transition into a commercial role that offers hands-on experience and exposure to intricate financial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. This role provides critical financial insights that inform APA's strategic decisions.

• Undertake financial planning and budgeting for various business units
• Conduct financial forecasting to predict future financial trends
• Analyse financial data and present findings to management
• Assist in the decision-making process by providing financial insights
• Collaborate with various teams to understand their financial needs
• Stay updated with the latest financial trends and industry standard

Key Skills & Experience

• CA/CPA qualified
• Strong financial analysis and planning skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent communication skills to present financial insights
• Experience working with large ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the energy sector is beneficial
