Recent news coming from the Australian Government proposes exciting changes to the already popular ‘Working Holiday Maker‘ program. The current system enables young travellers, aged between 18 – 30, to have an extended holiday in Australia, whilst earning money through short-term employment.

All passport holders from participating  countries currently have the ability to work for up to six months with one company and extend their visa for a further 12 months upon the successful completion of three months regional work.

Under the proposed new legislation outlined below (to come into effect in January 2017), there’s exciting changes to the scheme for those looking to make the most of a year down under.
