Due to an internal promotion, it is now offering a high profile role in it Group Finance team

The role will see you build relationships with senior stakeholders including Heads of Operating divisions, CFO and Corporate Development, providing accounting advice on a broad range of complex transactions (including M&A) and proactively prepare for upcoming technical changes. You will manage a small team responsible for statutory accounting and external reporting, while seeking to constantly improve the quality of reporting.

The successful candidate will be CA qualified with significant experience in technical accounting and advisory roles. This will ideally have been gained in a relevant team (CFO advisory, capital markets accounting advisory, financial accounting advisory) in the Big 4, progressing to Senior Manager/Director level. Experience in a similar role in a large complex organisation will also be highly regarded. Ability to coomuicate experience of advising on complex transactions including M&A deals and passion to drive best practice technical expertise in a dynamic business environment is essential.
