The Role

As a mandate compliance analyst you will sit in the fund services division, your duties will include:

  • Compliance monitoring for clients on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Interpretation of investment mandate compliance agreements and set up rules in the system
  • Identify breaches and pass them onto the investment manager
  • Resolution of production issues, client queries and ad-hoc reporting
  • Maintenance and requests to ensure complete reporting
  • Get involved in various products

The Candidate

Ideally you will be available within the next 2 weeks as they are looking to get someone in the role ASAP and know you can hit the ground running whilst supplementing your skills with on the job training. They are open to the experience required for the role and will consider people with fund accounting experience who can demonstrate experience and good knowledge of mandate compliance and reporting.

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years' experience within investment compliance/mandate monitoring or fund accounting with exposure to either
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes
  • Advanced Excel skills - Macros/SQL
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of derivatives exposure, credit ratings, duration measures and instrument types
