Our client is the clear industry leader in their field and is about to undergo a significant change piece that will further enhance their envious industry position and bottom line growth. Situated in one of Australia's most attractive and high growth sectors they are currently seeking a General Manager - Organisational Design. This is an outstanding opportunity for the successful candidate to play a leading role in transforming the companies' organisational design.
The primary purpose of this newly created role is to facilitate business critical change programs and redesign organisational capability to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved. The role will be charged with leading and implementing strategic HR best practises to drive performance through human capital business improvement initiatives and organisational development.
This position will work closely with the c-suite executives to drive business unit and cross functional transformation and will act as the company thought leader on strategic human capital and labour initiatives that drive enterprise growth across all channels and products. This will include identifying and defining pathways to preferred future states, scoping productivity initiatives, and driving the execution of these initiatives. Given the broad mandate of change and organisational redesign, the change initiatives will span a number of levers and sources; predominantly labour transformation, operating model improvements, performance improvement, process redesign, demand optimisation and technology-based improvements.
The successful candidate will be a richly talented change management professional possessing appropriate qualifications and, ideally a background from within a leading consulting firm, or hail from requisite change management/strategic HR leadership roles in large complex organisations. You will have proven experience in driving a positive approach to change resistance whilst identifying how leadership behaviours can move all stakeholders in a new direction. Previous experience in an in-house strategic Human Resources leadership role will be paramount to your success. Management consultants with extensive work-force and human capital organisational design experience will also be considered.
