The Job:

  • Analysis to implementation phase of the Project Lifecycle
  • Ensuring that Pre-Analysis & Analysis activities have been performed to meet the entry criteria to Analyse, or works to remediate and support
  • Utilise innovative tools and techniques to drive the following activities: Planning and Monitoring; Elicitation and Collaboration; Requirements Analysis and Design; Data Analysis and Data Mapping; Requirements Lifecycle Management across multiple streams; Solution Validation; Current and Future State Modelling; Process Flow Mapping; Test Requirements Validation; Transition Requirements; Interface/Data mapping Requirements
  • Use a Functional Decomposition approach to Analysis elaboration and will need to steer stakeholder towards Minimal Viable Product
  • Work to agree scope through planning, organizing, modelling and prioritizing requirements through effective Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Take ownership for quality assurance of projects/programs Analysis activities and outputs
  • Work through innovative vision and values and will be accountable for ensuring high performance, re use and sharing new practices and procedures to improve quality and standards across the BA Practices

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst; experience in a financial institution would be a benefit
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Experience in Functional Decomposition, creating Story Wall, Master Story list, Showcases, MoScoW, Quickstart, Iterative Requirements elaboration, tracking to agreed Definition of Done, and QOS linkage to functional realisation is preferred
  • Working knowledge of relevant Waterfall, Iterative and scrum delivery principles and familiar with Agile techniques
  • BABOK Knowledge Areas in Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring, Requirements Management, Requirements Analysis andSolution Assessment & Validation
  • Experience in Global Markets domain specific to Middle or Back Office functions integrating data with various systems
  • Experience working in interfaces and data mapping and migration as well as working in different regulatory environments with some knowledge of the trading lifecycle and electronic surveillance systems
