12-Month Contract | Melbourne or Sydney | Hybrid Working

A leading enterprise organisation is undertaking a significant HR technology transformation and is seeking an experienced SuccessFactors Compensation, Performance & Variable Pay Delivery Lead to drive the delivery of critical remuneration and performance initiatives over the next 12 months.

This is not a traditional project management role. We are looking for a strategic delivery leader who combines deep HR process knowledge with SuccessFactors expertise and the ability to challenge thinking, solve problems and guide stakeholders toward best-practice outcomes.

You will sit at the intersection of HR, Technology and Operations, leading the design and delivery of solutions that support remuneration, rewards and performance management processes across a large and complex environment.

The Opportunity

Working alongside senior functional consultants and stakeholders across HR and Technology, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring impacts across the broader employee lifecycle are considered.

You'll be the person asking:

• What problem are we actually trying to solve?
• What are the downstream and upstream impacts?
• How will this affect BAU processes and future releases?
• What does success look like for managers, employees and HR teams?
• How will this influence data, reporting and administration functions?

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Compensation, PMGM and Variable Pay initiatives.
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to define requirements and business outcomes.
• Translate requirements into solution designs and functional documentation.
• Guide and support functional consultants through design, build and deployment activities.
• Drive solution discussions, challenge assumptions and identify risks early.
• Ensure alignment between HR processes, technology capabilities and operational objectives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across HR, Technology and Operations.
• Support continuous improvement and future-state operating model design.
• Provide thought leadership around remuneration and performance processes.

About You

• Extensive experience delivering SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, PMGM and/or Variable Pay solutions.
• Strong understanding of HR operations, remuneration and performance management processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology and business delivery teams.
• Ability to think beyond system configuration and focus on broader business outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Comfortable challenging ideas and driving constructive conversations.
• Experience working within large-scale transformation environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Highly Regarded

• Product Owner or HR Technology leadership experience.
• Experience working within complex enterprise organisations.
• Knowledge of Position Management and broader Employee Central processes.
• Understanding of release management and ongoing BAU governance.
