An experienced Development Manager capable of leading a team spread across 3 locations. The role has strong focuses on prioritising and cadencing work, ensuring that all standards and disciplines are maintained, and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed on progress of all development items.



Key responsibilities

  • Understanding and helping to drive a micro-services architecture model
  • Owning and delivering end to end monthly development life cycles
  • Broad knowledge of programming languages, operating system principles, networking, and software development best practices
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation
  • Experience with delivering in an Agile manner
  • Developing and driving a "best in class" team culture, including introduction and maintenance of best practice behaviours across the team

Knowledge and experience

  • 3- 5 years' experience as a software development manager including demonstrated experience in driving standards and improving culture.
  • Experience in C#, .NET, SQL
  • Experience in implementing Agile methodology throughout SDLC
  • Experience in mentoring team across best practices and methodologies
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure) from a data architecture and a data governance perspective would be preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of current versions of JIRA and MS Office tools
