An exciting opportunity has become available for an experience Service Desk Technician to join the team of this leading Managed Service Provider. Your role will provide technical support to national customers as well as onsite support to computer systems, software & hardware across the Sydney Office.

Key responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Assist and support internal customers with using our services throughout projects and operations, supporting and mentoring them through the relevant processes
  • Build positive relationships with internal customers during support engagements to ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, profitable & enduring.
  • Ensure support tickets opened by the Service Desk are closed within SLAs (30 minutes responding time)
  • Provide accurate and timely solutions to end user computing problems to ensure our end-user experience is of the highest quality
  • Premium and Executive support
  • Liaise with internal support teams as required to resolve Incidents and complete Service Requests, to ensure compliance with SLA's and OLA's.
  • Working along Projects, Operations & Security Policies & Procedures

Knowledge and experience

  • Previous experience in an IT Support position; ideally working within an MSP or similar environment on the Help Desk Team
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Technology
  • Industry certifications MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, ITIL V3
  • Experience working on Microsoft Server, SQL, Active Directory, Office365, Teams, Exchange & Azure
  • Experience in Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or HyperV
  • Strong Networking troubleshooting (Cisco/Aruba/Juniper)
  • Remote Access experience using Citrix or Terminal Severs
