Senior Treasury Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for an immediately available Treasury Accountant to join a large corporate organisation on a contract through EOFY.

This role will suit a technically strong accountant with prior exposure to treasury accounting, treasury operations or financial markets environments. Candidates with Big 4 training and experience within corporate treasury or financial services will be highly regarded.

Working within an established treasury function, you will support daily treasury operations and month end activities across a complex corporate environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining FX rates within the ERP system
• Processing treasury settlements and treasury transactions
• Preparing daily cash flow forecasting and reporting
• General ledger reconciliations
• Assisting with AASB 139 / AASB 9 reporting
• Preparing bank journals, valuation and effectiveness testing
• Interest allocations and month end treasury support

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Degree qualifications in Accounting or Finance
• CA or CPA qualification
• Big 4 training or experience preferred
• Previous experience within a corporate treasury or financial services environment
• Exposure to treasury systems such as Reval, Quantum or GTreasury
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment
