Senior Solution Architect

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Senior Solution Architect to join the sales team of leading IT Start-up. Your role will be a business partner to the team responsible for solutions, client engagement and sales across the whole organisation.



Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales teams to conduct pre-sales technical activity
  • Understand customer business drivers and how to map these into solutions
  • Provide technical leadership in the requirements, solution development and proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle
  • Qualify opportunities and POV (Proof of Value) evaluation
  • Create Security Assessment Reports for end-users post-POV evaluation
  • Perform technical account management
  • Act as an interface with sales account teams and technical
  • Monitor and manage technical issues, product roadmaps and escalations
  • Achieve assigned quarterly revenue targets and related Sales Engineering KPI's
  • Where required, act as the single point of contact to the customer on all technical issues focusing on customer satisfaction


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Sciences
  • 8 years' experience in a Technical Sales or Presales environment
  • Networking, enterprise, and service provider experience
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, virtualisation, threat intelligence solutions
  • D-WAN, Network Security, TCP IP
  • Strong communications, customer service and people skills
  • Strong experience creating solutions to address business requirements
  • Professional, organised, resourceful, innovative, self-motivated
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
