An obvious market-leader within their field, they are well known for providing an excellent, flexible working environment for their staff. Surrounded by like-minded, impressive finance and non-finance professionals who have developed consistently throughout their career, there is a very strong push from the top-down for constant development. They are now looking to bring a Senior Management Accountant into their finance team who will predominantly act as a Business Partner to Operations. This role will be based in the CBD but will have regular travel, mainly to their largest site, based in Woori Yallock.

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to provide timely analytical and financial support to the Operations Managers in the business. You will also have month-end responsibilities from a Corporate point of view. Specifically, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: monthly reporting and analysis; annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting; providing recommendations to Operations based on analysis; assisting in delivering the Corporate plan; contributing to the preparation of statutory financial reporting requirements; maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register; delivering process improvements; mentoring junior team members; and other ad-hoc analysis. This role will have also have one direct report.

The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with strong experience in management reporting and analysis within a complex environment. Given the partnering required out of this position, it goes without saying that you will have proven experience partnering business units or departments and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence. Your ability to break down complex data and turn it into meaningful analysis which you can take back to the business will be the key to your success in this highly visible, broad-natured role. Given that you will be managing a direct report, ideally you will have previous managerial experience, or possesses the soft skills required to step into such a role. Further, you will have strong financial modelling skills with proven process improvements.
