Senior Business Services Accountant

The Opportunity

This is not your typical Senior Accountant role.

You'll inherit a well-established portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and SME clients, taking full responsibility for the delivery of compliance, advisory, and relationship management services.

You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, become the primary point of contact for your clients, and play an important role in the next stage of the firm's growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a sizeable portfolio of business and private clients
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns
• Deliver tax planning and business advisory services
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Act as the key point of contact for client queries and strategic discussions
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Contribute to process improvements and business growth initiatives

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys client interaction and is ready to take ownership of their own book of work.

You'll likely be:

• CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
• Working within a Business Services or Tax Advisory team
• Experienced in managing SME and high-net-worth clients
• Technically strong across Australian tax and compliance
• Comfortable leading client meetings and providing advice
• Looking for greater responsibility and a clearer progression pathway

Candidates from mid-tier, boutique, or Top 20 accounting firms are encouraged to apply
