My client is a clear industry leader in their field and has just undergone a significant change piece that will further enhance their envious industry position and bottom line growth. Situated in one of Australia's most attractive sectors, they are currently seeking a Revenue Manager to lead their high performing billing and analytical team and drive operational improvements. This is an outstanding opportunity for the successful candidate to further establish this function in a high-profile, newly created role. Reporting to the GM Finance this newly created role is charged with leading the revenue management function for the group. Specifically, your role will be two pronged: you will be leading the billings and analytical team to ensure that billing is timely and accurate; and also supporting the senior leadership team in providing timely feedback, reports and recommendations in terms of the function. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: ensuring group customers are billed in a timely and accurate manner; partnering senior stakeholders and providing operational and financial support; reporting and working with key internal and external stakeholders; identifying issues in regards to systems; design/scope and implement process improvements in terms of operations and systems; and other ad-hoc duties. The role will also be responsible for recruiting, leading and motivating the team.

Suitably qualified, the successful candidate will ideally be CA/CPA with a background leading successful high-performing teams. Given the nature of the role, a solid understanding of billing processes is required. Your ability to multitask and work between leading high-performing teams and working with required stakeholders will be the key to your success. You will also possess proven process improvements from previous roles and have strong systems experience. As this is also a relationship management and business partnering position, outstanding communication skills to partner and influence senior executives is mandatory.
