Our client is a specialist global banking group with a strong niche market presence in the Australian market.

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their Finance & Control division on a 15-months fixed term contract. This role will be responsible for preparation and review of a number of external regulatory returns for all the groups entities in Australia. Working closely with Senior Management, you will be responsible for review of all regulatory frameworks and policies (e.g., as Pillar III disclosures). In addition you will be responsible for production of regulatory returns to APRA and other authorities such RBA, ABS and DAFF. This role will also require you to produce analytical reviews and commentary for Australian group reports therefore excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.

Ideally you would have worked in a financial markets industry with a number of years experience in a regulatory accounting environment. You will have strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, IFRS, APRA and other requirements. In addition you will have a CPA or CA qualification along with strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
