IT Support Analyst

A leading Australian professional services firm is on the lookout for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This position will work collaboratively with a national Helpdesk team to respond to IT requests in person, remotely and via telephone.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all technical related issues
  • Maintain communication to users regarding status of their tickets/incidents
  • Logging tickets via ITSM tool
  • Escalating issues appropriately after necessary troubleshooting has been exhausted
  • Providing support in the set-up and management of IT equipment for meetings and events
  • Managing the firm's IT assets, and providing training in the operation of IT assets and services

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT Support role
  • Experience working for another Professional Services firm is essential
  • Industry certifications ie. MCSA/MCSE/MCP, CCNA, ITIL highly regarded
  • Experience supporting Microsoft environment, including Windows 7/8/10, Office365, Active Directory, Skype for Business
  • MDM experience (iPhones, iPads, Android etc.)
  • Previous experience using ITSM tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative, as well as within a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
