This role reports to the IT Strategy & Design Manager, who is looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer/Service Designer to come on board and provide advice and contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of ITIL based processes in service strategy and service design.

Key accountabilities:

  • Ensure IT investments are aligned with the direction of the business with a focus on infrastructure
  • Provide expert advice and insight into the infrastructure elements of the portfolio of services provided by IT
  • Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of ITIL based processes in service strategy and service design
  • Contribute to the development of a mechanism to evaluate, prioritise and communicate decisions regarding potential business and IT projects
  • Ensure requirements and quality metrics for prioritised projects are documented to the level necessary to facilitate efficient implementation
  • Collaborate with the IT Implementation team to ensure they are able to efficiently implement the most appropriate projects to the necessary level of quality
  • Collaborate with the IT Operations and IT Service Desk teams to ensure proposed projects maintain the integrity of existing services and are able to be maintained, supported and readily communicated

Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years of IT experience, which is preferred in a Senior Infrastructure and/or Senior Systems Engineering background with exposure in two or more of the following areas: Windows Server, Office365, AD, Exchange, Hyper V and Microsoft Platforms
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree level qualification
  • ITIL certified
  • Microsoft Certification
  • Experience working in an environment utilizing ITIL based processes
  • Experience in enterprise architecture including TOGAF
  • Experience in a media agency of broadcast environment highly desirable.
