IT Project Manager (API integration)

My client is a leading global insurer that is undergoing a large program of work involving an API integration of full insurance policy lifecycles.
This program of work will involve a lot of data attributes and complex APIs.
The wider team consists of project managers working with their teams to build APIs, while other maintain these APIs.
We are looking for a Sydney / Melbourne-based PM who can manage and schedule this end to end.

To succeed in this role, you will possess a high level of professionalism, and concise and succinct communication style. It is imperative for the PM to come from a technical background to understand APIs.
We seek a pragmatic and independent professional, who has demonstrated experience of facing off clients and executive leadership teams and is able to navigate ambiguity and moving parts. The ideal person would have a past technical background in back-end development and understand application APIs, before transitioning to an IT PM role working with various stakeholders to see the program to fruition.

A background in insurance is preferred, but we are open to individuals who have come from superannuation or banking. Knowledge of Guidewire or Duck Creek technologies would be strongly welcomed.
