This government organisation is fast becoming a household name. With 4.3 million Australians with a disability, this scheme will provide $22 billion in funding per year to an estimated 500,000 Australians under the age of 65, who have permanent and significant disability. For many it will be the first time they receive the support they need, they provide all people with a disability with information and connections to services in their communities such as doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools.
Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor, you will be providing advice to agency staff and management on auditing matters. Preparing internal auditing reports and maintaining auditing systems and processes for the Board, Audit Committee and management. You will partner with the business and have the ability to communicate and negotiate audit findings with management and the Board.
The successful incumbent will have a demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain productive working relationships with others and have a track record in working collaboratively with other agencies. You will have a strategic focus and exposure to working across the broad range of auditing activities.
