Helpdesk Technician/ Service Desk Analyst

 My client is currently seeking a  Level 2 Helpdesk Analyst to provide a very high level of phone, email, remote and face to face support to the business. The successful candidate must have a keen interest in IT and at least 1-2 years experience in an IT 2nd Level Support role. You will be a strong team player, have excellent interpersonal and behaviour skills and demonstrate a strong personal drive to the companies workplace values. 

You will need to be very organised and a quick learner and have a passion for providing EXCELLENT Customer Service skills. Reporting to the Service Desk Team leader you will also have the support of a larger team around you.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Need to be able to drive and have own transport, as the role requires travelling between stores
  • Good technical support knowledge and skills across Active Directory, Exchange, Office Suite, Windows Server 2008 and remote tools.
  • Knowledge of VNP networking and Juniper Switches.
  • Previous knowledge of POS systems would be an advantage 
  • Ability to problem solve basic hardware & software issues
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Very high standard of customer service
  • An ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
