Job title: Financial Accountant
Location: Olympic Park
Length of assignment : 6 months with start date from mid Nov

Purpose of the role: to support team during high peak period with BAU and special projects
Must have strong communication, solid accounting and analytical experience. Need demonstrated learning agility. Ideally looking for some payroll accounting experience

  • Execution of month end processes with accuracy and completeness, delivering on time in accordance with month end timetables
  • Ensure General Ledger reconciliations are completed accurately according to agreed month end timetables with reconciling items identified and resolved in a timely manner, no items greater than 3 month old
  • Provide great customer service to continually exceed stakeholder expectations, demonstrating the ability to build trusting relationships with our customers and understand our customers business priorities and initiatives. Scheduling at least 1 meeting with a key stakeholder each month
  • Ensure customer queries are investigated, actioned and communicated to stakeholders within agreed timelines, with all queries acknowledged with an agreed timeframe in 48hours
  • Prepare timely and insightful reporting to meet internal and external requirements, including dashboard and ad-hoc analysis
  • Deliver forecast cash flow reporting in line with timetables.

  • Degree qualified in relevant Accounting / Finance discipline
  • Preference to holding accounting qualifications from CA, CPA or CIMA
  • Solid understanding of Accounts Payable systems and processes
  • Solid understanding of Credit systems and processes
  • Solid understanding of Payroll systems and legislation processes
  • Strong technical accounting and systems knowledge


  • 5+ years experience in a Financial/Management Accounting role, preferred FMCG or large organisation
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Proven experience delivering meaningful Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss insights, both for management and financial/statutory reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional business partnering
  • Proven experience in leading or supporting and implementing change or initiatives
