Role Purpose: To ensure accurate reporting, compliance and delivery of Reporting Services activities related to Management Reporting Activities and Balance Sheet Governance

Management Reporting - Monthly & Quarterly

  • Support management reporting processes with a focus on timely and accurate delivery of assigned end-of-month / quarterly activities (including intercompanies; cash management & banking; and fixed assets maintenance)

Indirect Tax Reporting and Compliance Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate indirect tax compliance including excise, GST, FBT, ITR and customs duty (analytics, reporting and lodgement)
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual ABS Returns and ensure timely lodgement
  • Act as key contact for Group Finance queries (including Treasury, Taxation, Group Accounting)

Balance Sheet Governance

  • Ensure General Ledger reconciliations are completed accurately according to agreed timelines with reconciling items identified and resolved in a timely manner
  • Reviewer role for assigned Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Provide timely and accurate information for external audit and J-SOX requirements for all related processes in the role, as required

Leadership & Team

  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation of processes are maintained
  • Ensure assigned queries are investigated, actioned and communicated to stakeholders within agreed timelines
  • Provide support and guidance to ES-Manila to ensure queries are investigated, actioned and communicated to stakeholders within agreed timelines
  • Support Team Leader as required

  • Degree qualified in relevant Accounting / Finance discipline
  • Accounting qualifications CA, CPA or CIMA
  • Solid understanding of accounting and taxation standards
  • Exposure to Australian or NZ tax; AASB standards; and AGAAP accounting principles
  • Strong technical accounting and ERP systems knowledge


  • 3+ years experience in an FMCG or large organisation
  • 3+ years management and/or financial accounting experience
  • 3+ years post qualified experience in a Business Services or Financial Accounting role
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Experience in management and financial reporting to deliver meaningful insights
