Finance Manager - Management Accounting
Commercially focused leading University require a Finance Manager to manage the financial operations within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) portfolio comprising International, Advancement, Corporate Engagement, Future Students, Group Marketing, Incubation and Entrepreneurship.
Support management in preparing budgets and forecasts with a focus on strategic alignment, early communication and engagement with key stakeholders and timely completion.
Act as an integrated business partner to the Portfolio, supporting the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor (International) and Directors of business units on strategic planning and the provision of financials and support in the development of business cases to support new initiatives and projects.
Provide financial / commercial insight and analysis to support decision making
Lead & drive continuous improvements, identifying opportunities to consolidate, automate, and gain process efficiencies.
Provide revenue and cost modelling and financial and margin analysis of scholarships, fee waivers, agent's commission, MUIC & ELC teaching programs and activities.
Lead, manage and develop the Finance Coordinators & Finance Officers within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- CPA/CA qualification or international equivalent.
- Minimum five years of post-qualification experience
- Strong commercial and business acumen and financial analysis and modelling.
- Strong Stakeholder engagement, business partnering and a high emotional intelligence
- Well developed skills in managing and developing a team
