The Role

  • Reporting to a senior leader, this Finance Manager role is responsible for end-to-end financial management across group entities
  • Lead financial reporting, compliance, and internal control frameworks to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making through insights, forecasting and analysis
  • Oversee reporting cycles including monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables
  • Drive process improvements and system efficiencies across finance operations
  • Manage and mentor 1 direct report while fostering collaboration across departments

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial accounting, reporting, statutory compliance and audit processes
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and variance analysis
  • Maintain robust internal controls, governance frameworks and policy compliance
  • Manage banking relationships, reconciliations, receivables and credit processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and strengthen financial understanding
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of ESG and regulatory reporting requirements

Key Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar, with CA/CPA qualification
  • Proven experience in financial accounting or financial audit. This role is open to a Big4/ mid-tier first mover, or a candidate moving from industry
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and experience with financial reporting systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, commercial acumen and a continuous improvement mindset
