Finance Manager

Family owned construction business in North Sydney is looking for a Financial Manager to become part of their established business.

With over 30 years' experience in Australia they have become a true success story with projects country wide. As the Financial Manager you will oversee a small team of three. The successful candidate will be someone with strong tenure in a SME construction business who will not only be able to delegate responsibilities but also roll up their sleeves and do the work themselves.

This role will be a combination of financial accounting and management accounting

Duties include:

  • Manage and lead a small team including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Cash flow management
  • Preparation of monthly accounting journals and reconciliations
  • Revenue reports, profit and loss statements and financial analysis
  • Preparation of BAS, FBT and payroll tax

Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role
  • Only candidates with a background in construction will be considered for this role
