Specialist manufacturer in Sydney is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join their team.

This succesful Australian owned business is a is a leader in their field and operates in over 30 countries including Australia, New Zealand, and the US.

Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will see you partner with various stakeholders across sales, marketing, and warehousing to provide insights and assistance with their budgets and variance analysis.

The role will suit a hands-on commercial accountant who thrives in a SME environment with exceptional stakeholder management.

Duties include:

  • Prepare variance analysis for Senior Leadership team and improve internal reporting as a whole.
  • Budget reporting and variance analysis
  • Contribute to month end GL Reconciliations
  • Support with month end reporting packs
  • Cost and margin analysis of all stock by SKU model
  • Develop and maintain costing system for all products
  • Work with the Stock Controller on producing a SLOB report in line with Head Office policy
  • Maintain the Asset Register
  • Manage Asset Verification
  • Own the CapEx process
  • Prepare GUD, GST, payroll tax, and group tax remittances
  • Provide backup relief for AP and Payroll as needed

Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified or relevant business degree
  • A minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in a commercial environment
  • Preference will be given to candidates with stock management/control experience
  • Proven experience in strong stakeholder management
