Finance Business Partner

The Client

My client is a privately-owned FMCG organisation who are young (> 2 years old), fast-paced and dynamic. Having gone gangbusters during COVID, they are growing rapidly and need a Finance Business Partner to support their Sales & Marketing team.

The Role

This is a newly created role that will report directly into the CFO. The Sales & Marketing team is based in Cremorne and the manufacturing facility is based in Clayton - you will work from each location 2 days per week and one day working from home, to ensure you build and maintain relationships with your key stakeholders.

About You

My client is looking for a technically strong CA/CPA qualified accountant and an outstanding communicator who is able to -

• Work collaboratively with your finance team and the Sales & Marketing Leadership Team to prepare the sales & marketing budget
• Complete month-end & year-end reporting and in-depth analysis, and can tell the story behind the numbers to financial and non-financial stakeholders, as well as provide recommended actions to assist with commercial decision-making
• Drive the Demand section of the S&OP process
• Maintain the cashflow forecast
• Support the sales and marketing leadership team in all commercial decisions including NPD, revenue management, promotional spend & trade tracker and range reviews.

The salary on offer is up to $150k plus super, depending on experience.
