Due to this, they have created a new role for a Compliance Officer. This exciting and highly visible role - with Executive level interactions - will help drive the organisation forward into their next chapter.

Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, the successful candidate will be hands on with developing and embedding the compliance management framework. Specifically, your duties will include, but not be limited to: maintaining and reviewing the framework against corresponding risk appetites and ensuring an organisation wide application; maintenance and adherence to relevant regulatory bodies; identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and developing/implementing corrective actions for resolution; facilitating ongoing education and training requirements; assisting in reporting to Boards and Executive Management; keeping the Corporate Compliance Committee informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts; reporting of all compliance procedures and registers; other ad-hoc duties.

The successful candidate will have solid experience working in a compliance role within a large organisation with a deep knowledge of the regulatory environment. Given the nature of this role, you will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with all levels of Management. Solutions focused, you will also possess a strong attention to detail and be comfortable in training, coaching and presenting to small and large scale audiences.
