Commercial Finance Manager

I have an amazing opportunity to join a multi-generational, privately-owned, import and distribution business founded in the US. The Australian business is expecting to double its revenue in the next 5 years. This is a newly created role for a Commercial Finance Manager who will be a Business Partner to the Managing Director and support the business through this exciting growth phase.

You will report directly to the gregarious Managing Director, who has grown and evolved with the business for many years. He is looking for someone who wants to make their own mark on the business. You will not be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into the numbers for month-end, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. You will also liaise with the banks, manage receivables and forward cover contracts, and be across the FX and hedging accounting. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles is a big plus.

You must love a challenge, love to learn and be keen to seek and implement process/systems improvements within the team.
