This global leader within the Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices sector employs 700 professionals across Australia and has $500m t/o annually. Over the last two decades, this business has experienced 15% growth year on year through organic means as well as multiple acquisitions.
They are focused on maintaining this impressive growth trajectory and invest heavily in technology, innovation and development of their people to do so. There are currently a number of special projects underway across the organisation which has created an opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join the team based on the North Shore.
As Commercial Analyst reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for leading the budgeting and planning process, providing guidance & insights to non-finance stakeholders and driving process improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Annual budgeting and forecasting
- Monthly analysis and reporting with supporting insight delivered to business unit leaders
- Support the CFO and Senior Leadership team by presenting insights and analysis for ad-hoc requests
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives
- Assist in financial modelling for new and existing business opportunities
To ensure success in the role you will enjoy partnering with various stakeholders (including sales, operations and corporate services) to drive performance and financial acumen across the business. You will also enjoy working in a collaborative environment, being involved in projects and preparing presentations from large datasets.
Ideally you'll also be a CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) Commercial Analyst with experience working in a complex environment, SAP and advanced Excel.
