Global player which boasts a large portfolio of instantly recognisable brands and products. Due to an integration project, there is currently an opportunity for a Commercial Analyst who is proficient with Visual Basic & Macro to join the team, initially on a 3 month contract basis. 

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the Commercial Analyst will support the integration. This role will partner stakeholders across multiple business units and ensure processes are established and training provided for the use of financial models and pricing tools. 
  
Responsibilities include: 
  • Financial and analytical support for the transition
  • Financially model and evaluate opportunities to maximise profit in matching various supply sources
  • Prepare financials for the strategic plan for review of the trading entity
  • Matching supply and demand and identifying opportunities to maximise profit
  • Identifying key trends and positions to be taken by the sales teams
  • Review and update daily inputs for commodities and FX and update costs into the pricing tool
  • Manage risk and ensure delegated authorities are established
  • Ad-hoc modelling to support the business as required
Required for success: 
  • CA/CPA Qualified 
  • VBA & Macro skills
  • Experience with SAP, BW, Business Intelligence and Data Mining tools advantageous
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong initiative with the ability to go out into the business and establish relationships with key stakeholders
