The Change Manager will be working for a global financial services organisation migrating a Credit Card portfolio on to new systems and processes

Role:

My client - a major, global Financial Services organisation - is looking for an experienced Change Manager to join the team to develop and manage the delivery of Change Management plan for the program. This is a cross-functional role - working on a number of work streams, enabling the conversion of the current portfolio onto a new platform. Modifications to processes and ensuring operational readiness within the organisations business units for managing the portfolio post conversion.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational accountability for developing and managing the delivery of the Change Management Plan on time and to appropriate quality standards
  • Profile impacted user groups and determine appropriate sustainable change strategies for each impacted group
  • Plan interim solution models that support the business through transitional processes
  • Develop and deploy solutions that are aligned with the Project management framework
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and key leads across the project
  • Ensure change requirements of the business are represented in the tasks required for operational readiness
  • Advocate the relevance of the Change Management methodology, processes and practices across the enterprise, and to all levels of management

Experience/Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or extensive experience in delivering effective change management in large scale transformative programs
  • 5+ years in Financial Services and preference for Cards or conversion project experience
  • Advanced planning, project management, time management and decision making skills
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; most importantly ability to influence senior stakeholders and executives
  • Capability to plan and lead others to achieve priority outcomes and respond flexibly to changing and at time ambiguous environments
  • Extensive experience in designing and applying fit-for-purpose change approaches and deliverables
