Business Continuity Manager

Location: Preston, Victoria
Contract Type: Contract
Specialisation: Finance & Commercial
Salary: Negotiable
REF: BBBH219177_1518489973

My client is a market-leading ASX200 multi-national organisation with a portfolio of high profile Australian brands and an enviable growth and acquisition strategy. Having gone through significant change and growth in recent history, an opportunity has evolved for an experienced Business Continuity Manager to support the Executives with a broad range of responsibilities. Based in the Inner North suburbs, this newly created role is an initial 6 month contract.

Reporting into the Executive team, the purpose of this role is to work with the business leaders to develop business continuity plans for each business unit and then the necessary implementation. This role will also have responsibility for developing a Crisis Management Plan which will be presented to the board and then implemented enterprise wide. You will then be required to test the above plans and carry out all necessary training to senior leaders. Finally, you will also need to develop a comprehensive business impact analysis methodology to identify and assess critical business processes and enabling activities. Given this is a newly created role, you will be expected to bring your own tools and templates.

Ideally hailing from a consulting or finance background, you will possess risk management experience gained in consulting or large corporate environment with direct experience in the design, communication and implementation of risk management tools. Given the seniority of the role and the fact you will be dealing with Executives, it goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with key stakeholders of all levels. You will be a hands-on, self-motivated professional who is able to balance and deliver on conflicting priorities.
