Accounting Manager

Specialised Equipment wholesaler working with Australia's leading retailers is recruiting for an Accounting Manager.

This hands-on role will see you join a growing company who is continuing to expand their footprint locally and internationally. Reporting to the company directors the role requires a motivated and hands-on manager with experience in an SME environment.

The company is growing at an exponential rate and they have some exciting new projects pipelined for 2023.

Duties include:

• End-to-end transactional accounting covering bank & credit card reconciliations and weekly processing of payables using Navision
• Prepare weekly short-term cashflow forecasts
• Manage the daily cashflow of the company, including forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Oversee import and export transaction to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Prepare and review financial statement and reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
• Review and approve vendor bills

• Oversight of end of month close process, including preparation/review of all key GL account reconciliations

• Coordinate and oversee stock take and inventory management
• Manage and support a small team of 3 (AP, AR and Assistant Accountant

Skills:

• CPA qualified essential
• Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in a SME environment
• Experience in Netsuite essential
• Only candidates with a proven experience in import & export environment with stock management experience will be considered for this role
