I'm partnering with a leading brand in the construction sector in looking for a temporary accountant in their team, to support the finance manager in the financial year-end.

This would suit candidates who are part-qualified/fully qualified and happy to do onsite work for 5 days in their Western Sydney Office. Location is very close to public transport. Hourly rate is based on experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be looking after the following:

• Ownership of the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet reconcilian as a priority
• Assisting with the monthly accruals, journals for month-end/year-end reporting
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and Accounting standards
• Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers, and other required external stakeholders.
• Assisting in audit preparation;
• Adhoc projects as needed by the team

ABOUT YOU

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards, with at least 3 years in a similar role
• Open to assistant accountants looking to step up to an accountant role
• Flexible with industry experience
• Demonstrated capacity of working with diverse stakeholders
• Able to work in the office for 5 days, based in Western Sydney
