My background:

I’ve always been entrepreneurial. As a kid, I was always trying to figure out how I could make some extra pocket money. From selling pumpkins to propagating corals for aquariums to fixing and reselling bikes.

Finishing school, a Business Management degree was the obvious choice, so I decided to study at UQ, majoring in HR. I chose HR as I’m fascinated by learning about people and their motivations behind their actions.

I was fortunate enough to pick up a part-time gig with Ambition in their Projects and Business Transformation Team with a year left of my degree. Sourcing candidates for roles across Project Management, Change Management and Business Analysis.

Mid 2019, I finished my degree moved to full time. Within a year I was promoted to Consultant and since then I’ve narrowed my specialisation to Project Management and Change Management roles.

Any opportunity I get, you’ll find me at the beach. On the weekend, I love freediving, spearfishing and hiking. A combination of exploring, challenging my limits and staying fit. It regularly amazes me what our bodies are capable of.

Roles I recruit:

Contract and permanent roles including:

  • Change Managers

  • Change Analysts

  • Change Communication Specialists

  • Program Managers

  • Project Managers

Recent projects:

Recently, I partnered exclusively with a Brisbane Tech start-up as they needed a permanent project manager for a virtual reality project. Being a start-up environment, the candidate had to be able to wear multiple hats from project management, client liaison and product management. I agreed to present the best three candidates I could identify. From there, they interviewed two and hired one. The client was extremely happy with my work on the role and the outcome. They have since asked Ambition to support them on several other technical roles for the project.

Another project I recently supported was an enterprise-wide transformation program within the higher education sector. Primarily focused on organisational development, organisational change and operating model redesign. My client was hiring two change managers and a senior change manager. They advertised internally, approached two agencies and several sole traders. I had two change managers interview who were both hired. Unfortunately, the skillset for the SCM wasn’t available in the Brisbane market at the time and border restrictions limited options to engage out-of-state talent so they were unable to fill the third role. The client was happy with my work on the program and is going to be engaging Ambition for BAs, PMs and OCMs for the next phase of the program this year.
