Collection

Ambition, through our consultants, collects personal information about you which we believe is relevant and appropriate to the recruitment process. The information may be obtained from you directly or from referees nominated by you. This information may include your name, contact details, professional qualifications and associations, interests and employment history.

During the recruitment process, we may be asked by a prospective employer to obtain references. The purpose of a reference is to confirm your work experience and skills, The process involves one of our consultants contacting one or more referees nominated by you for this purpose. We will inform you of a request for references before they are taken.

You may elect not to provide us with personal information we request, As we only ask for information we believe is relevant to the recruitment services we provide, this may hinder our ability to provide those services in the most effective manner.

Use and Disclosure

The personal information we collect may be provided to a prospective employer. We will not disclose any personal information to others in accordance with the terms of the National Privacy Principles.

We may also use your personal information to respond to your inquiries and for the purpose of providing you with direct marketing material which we feel will be of interest to you.

You may at any time request to be removed from our mailing lists by contacting our Privacy Officer or advising us via our web site.

iProfile

  1. the Recruitment Agency also collects the candidate’s personal information for the purpose of creating an iProfile;
  2. the candidate’s personal information may be disclosed to SkillsMarket for the purpose of creating an iProfile;
  3. the candidate’s personal information contained in the iProfile may be shared with other Recruitment Agencies that the candidate has previously provided his/her CV; and
  4. the candidate consents to the use and disclosure of its personal information in this manner.

You may ask us to change any information which you believe is inaccurate or out of date and we will take reasonable steps to comply with your request.
