Finance Analyst

Job description

A prominent global FMCG company is currently seeking an RGM Analyst to join their team in Australia. This is a 12-month contract role, is based in the CBD, and offers hybrid working.

This role will see you supporting the development and delivery of a sustainable Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and Pricing strategy for the portfolio which optimises revenue and return for their business and customers. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, having the opportunity to make a tangible and valuable impact on the business.

Duties include:

  • Create a long-term pricing and pack architecture across the Craft portfolio, identifying marketplace drivers that impact price realisation with data driven insights and recommendations.
  • Incorporation of brand vision, current market dynamics and competitor activity into a robust and consistent pricing strategy
  • Developing insight-led promotional strategies and identify trade spend optimisation opportunities.
  • Support the New Product Development (NPD) pricing strategy through data driven insights.

Required Experience:

  • Commercial finance experience within an FMCG organisation is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated experience working in RGM is highly desirable.
  • Degree qualified.
  • Ability to build strong and constructive relationships across stakeholders is essential in this role coupled with the ability to work effectively through complexity.
  • Ability to work through high levels of ambiguity and complexity with an action orientated mindset.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
